Scroll through beauty Instagram accounts for long enough, and you’re bound to find these beautiful white pebbles of makeup from lilah b. I started hearing about their bronzer, powder foundation and lip/cheek duos from my fellow blogging friends and finally got my hands on the cruelty free, vegan makeup brand sold at Sephora and Nordstrom. After playing with it for weeks, I have my lilah b review and makeup tutorial ready!
Full disclosure, the brand was generous enough to gift me these products to test complimentary. This post is not sponsored and I was not required to review these products. All opinions are 100% my own.
Simple, uncluttered makeup is the foundation of lilah b beauty.
Their tagline is, “With less, you are more.”
The brand believes in clean beauty with refined, high quality ingredients that are no fuss.
Currently, the brand’s line up includes powder foundation, creme foundation, illuminator, bronzer, concealer, eyeshadow quads, lip/cheek cream duos and a few basic brushes to complete your look.
Lilah B is a higher end, clean beauty brand and the individual products retail between $46-60.
I got to try their powder foundation, eye quad, bronzer, and lip/cheek duo for today’s look.
Their flawless powder foundation (I have b.classic and it’s slightly too light for me) is finely milled, smooth and easy to apply with little fall out. Coverage is sheer to light with a natural/radiant finish. I personally prefer this as a setting powder over foundation for a slight bit of added coverage and smooth finish. I also hope they come out with more shades and better visuals for what shades suit what skin tones.
I got to try the eye quad in b.stunning – a neutral brown set. These are no brainer combinations of mattes and shimmers built for speed. No thinking about how to apply these – they are beautiful washes of color that are suitable for both the office and date night.
Lilah B’s bronzer is incredibly natural and buildable. I do wish they offered the bronzer in a deeper shade because the current b.sunkissed shade is their only one offered and probably won’t show up on skin tones deeper than me (and I have to build it up a bit). However, I love the tone. It’s not too orange or too muddy.
The lip/cheek duos are awesome! I love the texture and how it works beautifully on the cheeks without being greasy and on the lips without being too drying. These are great to throw in your purse for a flush of color or mid-day touch up.
Check out my demo on YouTube here to see the products perform in action. If you don’t want to hear the review portion of the video, the makeup tutorial starts at 09:38.
I think this is a beautiful collection from the packaging to the performance of the products.
I hope they continue to retail in stores so customers can get a better idea of shade matches.
