Last week, I did a fun fall fashion collab with a few favorite bloggers (enough alliteration there?) on our fall fashion staples. This week, we partnered up to do a little behind-the-scenes/get to know us sharing some of our non-beauty (well, SOME beauty) fall favorites. We’re sharing our favorite fall drinks, clothing, candles, lip colors and more. If you’re interested in learning a little about me or sharing more about YOU, then let’s do this!
I have been purchasing Bath + Body Works Fall Candles in the scent Marshmallow Fireside for at least 6+ years. It’s seriously the coziest autumnal scent EVER. Marshmallow Fireside will instantly make you want to put on a giant blanket, some soft socks, throw your hair up in a messy bun and whip up some hot chocolate next to a fireplace, EVEN if you live in a warm climate. It’s amazing.
Although I don’t really change my favorite shades of peachy nudes in the fall, I DO tend to opt for more matte formulas. Is that opposite? Oh well. I find I prefer long-wearing, nonsticky matte liquid lipsticks like my ColourPop Ultra Satin Lippies (Dopey and Echo Park for the win), Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks (Stone has my heart lately), or the NEW Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips.

Once the warmth and glow of summer starts to really fade, I need blushes that pack more of a punch and my favorite is Tarte’s Blushing Bride. It’s the most flattering rosy pink/plum you would never think would be perfect for all skin tones.
I’m basic and go for a standard PSL, although I have been extremely pleased with Dunkin Donuts K Cups in Pumpkin Spice combined with Coffeemate’s Natural Bliss Creamer in Sweet Cream. Tastes nearly identical to a PSL for a fraction of the price.
This is my first fall/winter back in the northeast after living in the deep south (North Carolina and Texas) in over 6 years! I need to reacclimate. Right now, I’m most excited about getting use out of my short Hunter Boots paired with the coordinating Hunter Boot Sweater Socks.
Talked more about fall fashion staples in this post.
I’m probably the only person who won’t pick Hocus Pocus, but I actually go for When Harry Met Sally. It’s one of my all-time favorite movies, but it always reminds me of the holiday season especially since I’m originally from the northeast and have fond holiday memories in NYC!
As of right now, my favorite TV show (on Netflix) has been One Tree Hill (and I’m BINGING to finish the rest of season 8 and season 9 before Oct. 1 when Netflix pulls it… WORST IDEA EVER NETFLIX!!!!). Outside of Netflix, I’ve been enjoying some very riveting and educational programming including Vanderpump Rules Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky and Shahs of Sunset.
Traditional… cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. I also don’t have a preference on canned or salad-style cranberry. I love it all.
Personally, Halloween is my least favorite holiday and has been always. It’s just always been associated with me getting my heart broken by some guy and/or having a lot of hype/expectation and being a let down (sort of like New Year’s Eve). BUT… I have to say my favorite Halloween costume was when I decided to dress up like Snooki when living in North Carolina because everyone associated me with Jersey anyway. 🙂

What are some of your fall favorites I shared? Let me know in the comments because it’d be great to get to know my readers more. Also, I really need to get over the PSL addiction, so help a girl out.
