It’s my favorite time of the year! No, but really. The holidays are approaching but most excitingly – Sephora’s biannual sale is coming next week for VIB Rouge members! At the time I’m writing this post, I know the sale kicks off Nov. 3, 2017 for VIB Rouge and goes through Nov. 15. VIB and BI are able to shop the sale Nov. 10-15 from what I’ve heard at the time of writing this post. Anyways, if you’re unfamiliar with this sale, it’s the BIGGEST sale of the year that Sephora holds. VIB Rouges and VIBs get 20% anything in the store and it’s glorious (I believe BIs get 15% or 10%, as well). If you want to know my favorite repurchases and new(er) products I’d pick, then keep reading my Sephora VIB Sale 2017 recommendations.
Many of you may be familiar with cash back websites like ebates, etc. Personally, I’ve used ebates for at least three years and love earning an extra 5-10+% cash back on all of my online purchases. Who wouldn’t?
A few weeks ago, I was approached by Topcashback.com. They’re a cashback site very similar to ebates, but you’ll find a few key differences with Topcashback:
At first, I was skeptical. I have been loyal to ebates for years.
So I tested it out myself and asked the rep that emailed me tons of questions (she probably wanted to delete my email address).
The biggest takeaway I learned is that Topcashback is BIGGER in the UK than in the US (right now). They’re new(er) to the US, so they’re doing everything they can to help provide a better value to US-users.
It’s working. I tested it out on my own for a couple of weeks. I even placed a couple of random American Eagle and Macy’s orders to just see how it worked.
Not only did every retailer I compared against ebates have HIGHER cash back with Topcashback, but I love that I could instantly transfer my funds to my Paypal account once posted.
Anyways! You really need to try Topcashback this season and see how it works for you. I’m a convert now and highly recommend making your Sephora order online so you can get an extra % of cash back on your purchase.

Now that we got that out-of-the-way, I rounded up a few of my must-have restocks and then added a few new/newer-for-2017 and a couple of holiday sets. In total, I have 17 recommendations for your shopping enjoyment.
If you prefer to watch the roundup on YouTube, you can find that here:
If you’re reading this at work, simultaneously watching the World Series, or feeding your child, then I have all the details written below:
Benefit Goof Proof or Precisely My Brow | Regardless of the brow product(s) you use, this is the time to stock up for the year and get them at 20% off. I know it may seem a bit expensive at first but really… it’s cheaper in the long run if you know you go through 5-6 pencils a year.
Benefit Gimme Brow | I have tried a ton of dupes but I love the color of this one (#01) the best! It’s not too light and gives me an extra bit of dimension to my brows.
Original Beauty Blender | Although there are a ton of great dupes at the drugstore now, you really should try the OG at some point, and what better time than on sale!? As much as I love my drugstore dupes, there’s something special about the original.
Dr Jart Water Replenishment Sheet Mask | I talk about these all the time when recommending things to try from Sephora. This is the best sheet mask ever and the first and only one to convince me sheet masks ACTUALLY work. Great for all skin types.
IGK Beach Club Texture Spray | I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this texture spray and I will sing it from the rooftops. I love the smell, I love the way it sprays, I love how it has amazing texture without making my hair feel TOO dirty. It’s just delightful. A MUST for my beachy waves and to add some grit/volume to straight hair.
House of Lashes Eyelash Adhesive | If you struggle with applying or having false lashes stay on, then this is for you. It’s THE BEST lash adhesive. It’s powerful, though, and does take a good oil cleanser to remove from the lids at the end of the night. I can’t be without it though. Full review here.
IGK Girls Club Color Spray | OMG so fun! If you’re like me and hesitate at dying your hair in a salon a fun color, but want to do it in a way that doesn’t look like Halloween… this is for you! I’m wearing it in the YouTube video. I’m obsessed with this spray.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette | No, this isn’t NEW for 2017, but for those of you STILL on the fence about this (and I know you’re out there), do it. It’s a flawless palette that has a highly functional brush and just looks beautiful on all eye colors or ages!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed | I have both Opal and Champagne Pop and these are the only highlighters I’ve ever hit pan on in my life. ‘Nuff said.
Tatcha The Water Cream | I picked this up nearly immediately after it launched and it’s perfect for more oily skin that still needs anti-aging assistance. The entire experience of this moisturizer is so luxe! It’s a splurge, but one you’ll absolutely look forward to every single night.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream | Mentioned this in my favorites post here, this is excellent for canceling out acne scars, hyperpigmentation, sun spots, melasma, etc without adding ‘cake’ like concealer can do. Such a hidden gem!
Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara | I don’t typically rave about high-end mascaras (with the exception of my love – Chanel Le Volume de Chanel (not sold in Sephora)), but if you’re going to splurge on one, let it be the Monsieur Big. Super black, no fading/flaking and builds volume without looking like a spider. More in-depth review here.
Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer | Guys. I may have finally found a primer I like! It’s only taken me nearly 20 years. Although I can’t say I liked the original or redness reducing (green) formula from Smashbox, this one seems to work nicely without feeling heavy/silicone-ridden.
Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial Mini Set | Last night, this was unfindable on Sephora.com, but if you can find it, scoop this up as the full-size Babyfacial is $80! This potent 25% AHA/5% BHA blasts away dead, dull skin cells while penetrating deep to clarify/decongest pores. Plus, bonus mini Marula Oil to hydrate after treatment.
Tarte Pro Glow To Go | I originally bought this for my GIVEAWAY but ordered another for myself because I loved the swatches in store. Also, it works awesome as a quick everyday eyeshadow trio using the highlights on the lid and bronzer through the crease. Also wearing this in the YouTube video.
Urban Decay Ultimate Pair Lip Set | I liked the Backtalk and Rush Set because – neutrals – but they also have a metallic finish and a more brown nude (shade 1993) set. This is probably the best steal on my list at $22 for the full-size pencil and lipstick and Urban Decay make one of the best lip pencils in Sephora! Also wearing in the video.
Ciate x Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Vol. II | Ciate is majorly underrated because everything I’ve tried from them has been really nice and it’s not nearly as expensive as some of the other Sephora brands. I thought this set was an incredible value at $49 for the palette of 20 shades, deluxe and exclusive liquid lipstick, deluxe mascara and full-size liquid eyeliner. I also think the eyeshadow shades are unique compared to all the warmth we see these days.
So that wraps up my Sephora VIB Sale 2017 recommendations!
I hope you found this helpful while perusing the Sephora site and don’t forget to sign up for Topcashback, then shop THROUGH their site to get an extra % of cashback from your purchase.
