Do you feel like even tinted moisturizers are too heavy or you don’t like the feeling of something sitting on your face, but wish you could have that extra bit of skin-perfection? Or are you of the more-is-more train of thought, need a full coverage foundation but don’t want everyone in a 50-foot radius to see you’re wearing makeup? I come bearing wonderful news for both with the launch of new Glossier and Charlotte Tilbury foundations!
// For my light coverage friends //
Glossier, a newer and (currently) online-only hybrid skincare-makeup brand with a cult celebrity following, just expanded their shade selection of their uber-popular Perfecting Skin Tint. This is major news because before today, the formula was only offered in Light, Medium and Dark, with Dark matching what I look like with a tan (clearly limiting). They expanded the range to include Deep and Rich, which gives a pretty thorough shade selection for this adaptable product.
Even more, the site has created a virtual shade selector/matching system which allows you to upload a photo of yourself and within seconds, Glossier’s technology displays your proper shade. If the shade ends up not working out, return and exchange for another shade completely free.
Pick up GLOSSIER HERE and get 20% off your first purchase.
If you’re trying to hit the $30-mark to qualify for free shipping on the site, let me recommend picking up Coconut Balm Dot Com. You can use it to hydrate your lips, cuticles, tame brows and even as an extra hydrating boost at night mixed in with moisturizer.

Those with acne, rosacea, redness, melasma, pigmentation issues or discoloration better perk up right now. Charlotte Tilbury is launching her new, full coverage Magic foundation very soon. It’s going to be available in the UK and Europe starting this Thursday, and TBD on its United States availability, but it’s coming.
As someone who tends to prefer fuller coverage, I can’t wrap my head around how awesome this foundation will be since her original Light Wonder foundation is in my top three all-time favorites. It’s the most natural and longest-wearing foundation I own. Magic foundation makes similar claims to Light Wonder – youth-restoring, weightless and infused with skin-improving ingredients. I have a feeling this is going to be pretty incredible.
Rose, of MixedGems.co.uk recently published a very informative post about Charlotte’s Magic foundation here. Make sure you’re following me on Facebook and Twitter to get updates on the US launch as soon as I have more information.
