Recently, I picked up the Marc Jacobs Social Butterfly Palette – a Neiman Marcus exclusive – because I was feeling extremely
stupid spendy. The shades swatched so pigmented and creamy, plus I’m a total sucker for eyeshadow and eye makeup. This palette definitely seems to give more dramatic/smokey looks, but I was able to whip up an easy, all-matte look; a “daytime glam” purple smokey look; and an “all out glam” look complete with false lashes. *For reference, I’ll refer to the shades used from LEFT to RIGHT as: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.*
Let me know what you think about these looks using the Marc Jacobs Social Butterfly palette! I feel like the palette is pretty versatile, although it does remind me a lot of the original Urban Decay Naked Palette (with a bit more darkness to it, less fall out and that fun lilac shade).
