When I was living in North Carolina and Texas, I packed away or gave away all of my old sweaters and now I’m on the hunt to restock because sweaters with leggings are as easy as jeans with a t-shirt in the spring and summertime. If you’re on the hunt for some comfortable must have sweaters for leggings, then let’s get into this.
shop this outfit:
Many of you may have seen the thousands of promotions for these DIFF Eyewear sunnies over the Thanksgiving weekend, but it’s for a great cause.
DIFF Eyewear does things a bit differently. Pun intended.
For every pair of their high-quality sunglasses sold, they donate a pair of eyeglasses to communities in need around the world. I’m all about that!
As for the rest of the outfit details, the Ralph Lauren tote is old, but I linked similar styles in both camel and black.
Same with my scarf and booties, they’re old (because I’m a real person and don’t shop for clothes weekly), but I linked similar styles for you.
must have sweaters for leggings
When it comes to sweaters, I like them slightly thinner in material and they have to be soft. I steer clear of wool and itchier materials.
I like a slightly longer length, but not so long that I end up looking like a child wearing her father’s clothing. Since I’m only 5’3″, tunics can sometimes look like dresses, so I have to shop carefully.
If you haven’t shopped Black Friday or Cyber Monday, I have to say, I’m FULLY impressed with American Eagle‘s deals and find myself shopping their site a lot since moving back to the cold weather.
Right now, their sweaters/sweatshirts are all $25, but even when this sale ends, they always have great promotions and I find their stuff to be great quality.
Here are my favorite picks from American Eagle and others to pair with your favorite leggings this season:
Hope this helps you find some super cozy picks for the winter. If you have any favorite sweaters you’ve picked up recently, let me know as I’m in need of replenishing my sweater wardrobe 🙂
